Welcome to the heart of the Pyrenees National Park
The core zone of the national park is a natural region that is regulated and open to the public.
It is an area with significant heritage value.
The aim of the Pyrenees National Park is to protect its nature, landscapes and sites, promote biological diversity and share its wealth with the public, to pass it on to future generations and encourage behaviour that is respectful of its nature and equilibrium.
The national park stretches over land owned by the Commission syndicale de la vallée de Saint-Savin, and is also a pastoral site and tourist destination. It is a remarkable place, and one which we invite you to discover, respect and protect.
